BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
I was a bank trust officer for 17 years. Last position was Vice President and Trust Officer, Trust Department Manager. I supervised administration of estates and trusts, prepared federal estate tax and income tax returns. Building on that experience, I moved into the insurance industry, specializing in the sale of employee benefit plan investments. Later, after winning numerous sales awards, I was appointed Regional Pension Manager, headquartered in San Francisco, CA. Territory at various times included most of the northern Pacific and mountain states.
As co-founder and co-owner of Cornerstone Marketing Systems, Inc., Walnut Creek, CA, I wrote and produced employee benefit and investment education programs. |
Media included booklets, slide shows, videos, computer and intranet applications. All were written and produced using advertising industry methods.
Other experience includes part-time teaching of computer technology in a technical college, corporate computer training, prepared business plans and SBA loan applications as a consultant, and worked in accounting assignments.
